Movement + Nature + Community for Moving Forward

Imagine starting your day with movement that’s designed to help you shift your life, supported by the gentle sounds of the ocean and the warmth of a kind community. The Working Out + Inner Work group offers a unique opportunity to blend the energizing power of movement in nature with practices that nurture your inner well-being.

We'll explore simple but effective ways to cultivate presence through mindfulness and breath, tap into your inner resources with visualization, and experience the grounding benefits of walking or running along the Redondo Beach coastline. We'll also touch on some of the fascinating science behind how we change, create, and move towards our goals.

If you've felt a quiet nudge for something more in your life, a gentle shift in your routine, or a desire to connect with others on a similar path, this group is for you. We'll move together, learn together, and support each other as we remember and reconnect with our innate creativity, power, and humanity.

Here's a little more about what to expect:

  • Who: A small circle of eight to ten adults who are curious about integrating movement and inner work into their lives. Whatever your current focus – navigating a transition, seeking more balance, or simply wanting to cultivate a greater sense of well-being – you'll find a warm and welcoming space here.

  • What: This is a chance to combine the benefits of movement with practices for inner growth. I'm Sepideh Saremi, a licensed therapist and the founder of Run Walk Talk®, and I'll be guiding our sessions. My aim is to share tools and create a supportive environment for exploration. Please know that this isn't a therapy group, and our focus will be on fostering community and using movement and presence to support each other's journeys.

  • When: We'll meet on Thursday mornings from 7:00 AM to 8:15 AM for six sessions, starting on June 5th and running through July 10th, 2025.

  • Where: Our meeting spot will be beautiful Redondo Beach, right here in the South Bay. We'll gather on the sand to start and end, with the option to walk or run on the sand or a paved path, whatever feels right for you. I'll share the exact meeting point once you sign up.

  • Why: Your "why" is personal, and that's important. Perhaps it's a feeling that now is the time to nurture yourself, connect more deeply, and move forward with a greater sense of ease. Or perhaps you’re tired of waiting for motivation or inspiration to strike, and are ready to move forward in your life, trusting that your physical movement will help you remember your inner strength. Whatever your why, this group is designed to support your growth.

  • How It Works: Each week, we'll take a moment to arrive and set our intentions, and I'll share a new idea or practice (the first 15 minutes of our group). Then we'll move for about 45 minutes (either running or walking - always your choice), and we'll close with 15 minutes of some gentle stretching and a guided reflection to help us internalize and carry the positive energy we have generated together as a group and with our bodies.

  • The Fee: The suggested contribution for the six sessions is $222. Creating a connected and inclusive group is important to me, so I've set aside a few sliding scale spots for those who need them.
